Sanaya got the opportunity to do the role of bobo in the hit Yash raj film, Fanaa. Sanaya received a call from YRF's office offering her the role of Bobo, but she refused as she was not interested in small supporting roles. Sanaya received a second call and was told she aamir khan and kajol would be in the movie. The actors are her favorite. Thinking there would probably not be another oppurtunity to work with them, Sanaya agreed. She described her experience on the grand set as amazing. while bobo was a small cameo in the movie, It gave Sanaya the much needed confidence and experience required to begin her acting career.
